Effective August 29, 2026
BANA-SCAN does not collect, store, or transmit personal information. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind.
BANA-SCAN uses your device camera to measure a banana’s length, width, and curve. Video frames are analyzed in your device’s memory and discarded immediately after each measurement.
Nothing is photographed, recorded, saved to your photo library, or uploaded. No image ever leaves your device. Camera access is requested only when you open the scanner, and you can revoke it at any time in iOS Settings.
Measurements and scan history exist only in memory while the app is open and are erased when you close it. Nothing is written to permanent storage or sent to a server.
If you export results as a PDF, that file is generated entirely on your device and saved wherever you choose. We never receive a copy.
None. BANA-SCAN has no backend and no database. We cannot identify you, and we receive no information about you or your use of the app.
BANA-SCAN loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. When fonts are fetched, Google receives your IP address as part of that ordinary web request. Google’s handling of that data is governed by its own privacy policy. No other third-party service is used, and no data about you is shared with anyone.
BANA-SCAN is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children under 13.
If this policy changes, the effective date above will be updated. Material changes will be noted in the app’s release notes.
